Pull that up.

Juno is a voice assistant for your Discord voice channel. Say her name mid-argument and she checks it out loud, with sources, in a few seconds, then drops the receipt in chat.

Claim

“You can see the Great Wall of China from space with the naked eye.”

— said by Marcus · pulled up by Dee

Falsehigh confidence

False. Astronauts say you can't pick it out from orbit without a lens.

The wall is long but only a few meters wide and close to the color of the land around it. Astronauts on the ISS report they can't see it unaided.

How it works

Three steps. No app, no tabs.

She lives in your voice channel, so nobody has to stop playing to look something up.

  1. Invite her in

Join a voice channel and type /juno join. She announces herself, and her name reads Juno · listening so everyone knows.

  2. Say her name

“Juno, pull that up.” right after someone makes a claim, or ask anything: “Juno, who won the 2010 World Cup?”

  3. Get the receipt

She answers out loud in a sentence and posts the full receipt, sources included, in the channel chat.

What she does

The friend who always has the stats.

Fact-checks

True, false, mixed or can't verify, with the sources she used. She says when she isn't sure instead of guessing.

Questions

Stats, scores, history, rules, news. She looks up anything that could have changed since yesterday.

Bets and a leaderboard

“Juno, log that bet.” She settles it later and keeps a monthly table of who's right the most.

Catch me up

Joined late? /juno catchmeup gives you the last few minutes in a few lines, just for you.

Referee mode

She notices when an argument is heating up and checks the claim before anyone asks.

Your rules

Rename her, choose how chatty she is, and whether she waits for a gap or speaks up over the game.

Screenshots

Drop a scoreboard, a parlay slip or a post into /juno check and she reads it and checks it.

Receipts Wrapped

Every month: the Oracle, the Cap Artist of the Month and the most delusional claim, posted in your server.

Stream overlay

Streaming from Discord? Receipts slide onto your stream as she speaks. One link in OBS.

Built for loud rooms

Eight people, a game, and Juno still gets a word in.

Most voice bots wait for a silence that never comes. Juno keeps answers to a sentence and speaks up when you asked for it.

  • Hears you over the crosstalkDiscord gives every mic its own stream, so other people talking don't drown out your request.
  • Short answers out loud, details in chatOne sentence spoken; the full answer and sources on the receipt.
  • Follow-ups work“What about 2012?” She remembers what she just said.
  • No dead airIf an answer takes a few seconds, she says “Pulling it up.” so you know she's on it.
  • “Juno, stop.”Cuts her off mid-sentence, any time.
Privacy

She listens for her name. That's it.

Everyone in the channel is told she's there, and anyone can opt out with one command.

Read the privacy policy

  • Her name is detected on our serverIn the default mode, nothing is sent for transcription until someone says “Juno”. Then only the last minute is transcribed, so she knows what “that” is.
  • Audio is never savedIt stays in memory for about two minutes, then it's overwritten. Transcripts are forgotten after ten minutes.
  • Opt out any time/juno optout and she stops hearing you immediately. /juno forget wipes what she's holding.
  • Receipts are what's keptThe claim, the verdict, the sources and who said it, so you can share them. Ask us to delete one any time.
  1. Your micDiscord sends each person's audio to Juno separately. Opted-out members are never received.
  2. Her name, heard on our serverThe wake word runs on our own servers. Nothing is transcribed before someone says it.
  3. The last minute, transcribedOnly the request and up to a minute before it, so she knows what “that” is.
  4. Answer and receiptOne sentence out loud; the claim, verdict and sources posted in chat.
  5. ForgottenAudio is overwritten within about two minutes and never saved. Transcripts are gone in ten.
Questions

Good questions.

Is it free?

Yes: the Free plan has 15 checks a month, and receipts, the leaderboard and Wrapped stay free on every plan. Servers that use her a lot can pick a paid plan, or anyone can chip in for a one-night Event Night. See pricing.

Does she record us?

No. Audio is held in memory for about two minutes so she can hear what was said right before her name, and it is never written to disk. In Referee and Host modes she transcribes the whole conversation so she can follow it; those transcripts are still forgotten after ten minutes.

What if she's wrong?

Every verdict shows the sources it came from, so you can check her. When she can't find good evidence she says “can't verify” rather than guessing, and opinions get labelled as opinions.

What can she answer?

Sports, history, science, movies, rules, current events: anything you could look up. She searches the web for anything that might have changed recently. She can't know what's happening in your game or anyone's private life.

What does she need in my server?

Permission to join and speak in voice, post in chat, change her own nickname and set the voice channel status. She uses the last two to show she's listening, and won't join without them.

How do I get her in my server?

Juno is in a small friends-and-family beta right now. Ask for an invite and we'll add her to your server.
